Therefore, it was completed in 1946 but released in 1958. Was it a propaganda movie like October [1928].

The second part is a broad extension of The Great Loss of Anastasia and the madness and solid determinism for great Russian nationalism, imperialism and patriotism. 


The colored long sequences of feast dance and cathedral play are the only diversion in the film.




The transition from Contemporary issues in Strike, Battleship Potemkin, October and The General Line and Bezhin Meadow [unfinished] to historical Alexander Nevsky and ended in Ivan Trilogy [part III incomplete] prove Eisenstein’s struggling conciliation between the authoritative pressure and his artistic self

  Two things that had made Charlie Chaplin’s The Circus [1928] very inimitable and grand. First the narrative style and second keeping the film silent in the advent of talkies. Another aspect that is very unusual and still mysterious to me as I have not finished my reading of Chaplin’s Autobiography.  শুদ্ধ দেশ -পলাশ মাহমুদ ন্যায়ের মাঝে বাঁচা, উত্তম বাঁচা।স সত্য সরল জীবন। কতো অমৃতময়! শুধু প্রেমের সংলাপে বিশ্বসাজলে হবে কি? বিদ্বেষের অন্ধপ্রলাপ বনবাসে পাঠাবে কে? আশৈশব এইসব পদাবলীর সুর বেজেছে মগজে মননে, কাগজে পুরাণে। তবে কেন আজ। যতো পথ যাই। যতো মত পাই। বিনাশের গিরিনন্দনে বোধনের এমন ক্রমপতন। তবে কেন আজ। যতো দূর চোখ মেলি। যতো কাছে মন রাখি। বিবাদের সমুদ্রমন্থনে আকালের এমন উর্ধ্বমাদল। আবার কবে কৈলাশের চূড়ায় উঠে ব্রহ্মনদের অতল খুঁড়ে, ফিরে এলে দেখা পাবো। আমার আপন শুদ্ধ দেশ। এবার তবে নীরবতার আগড় খুলে ভুল ভাবের কেতকীভূষণ ছেড়ে, পুর্নবার গড়ে তুলি মানুষে মানুষ।

As breezes flowing low By Palash Mahmud                                                              Photo Credit: Pixabay I sailin’ back through the same passage I standin’ up under the old bridges.   What you know?   Those chantin’ branches of dead trees Whispered your fadin’ name on edges As breezes flowin’ low.   Those lost stingin’ summer days Those gone sneezin’ winter nights. Those fallin’ leaves turn’d ashes Those floatin’ clouds turn’d leashes.   What a crime not to remind your name! What a shame not to recite your rhyme! Your name merged in my shades-   Never mind.   Your face unseen through my senses   Never mind.   As I went the passage you came so.   How I know?   We will not see either ever- When everything is feelin’ Who cares the not-seein’?
